一般会話グループレッスン <Group lesson>

文法を正しく使えるよう練習をした後に、簡単なテーマでフリートークをします。レッスンは短い会話から長い会話の順にステップを踏みながら、日本語の基礎文法を習得します。 基礎文法が身につけば、 他の場面でも応用して自分の言いたいことが話せるようになります。

Group lessons are available at all levels - from beginner's Japanese to business Japanese. Group lessons consist of two to four students per class. These lessons put an emphasis on improving Japanese speaking and vocabulary skills. You will focus on conversation as well as reading and writing. These lessons consist of using real-life situations that may occur in your daily life and work life in Japan. You will be able to accommodate shopping, make reservations, make phone calls, and ask for directions in no time. You can have fun in these group lessons while learning daily Japanese conversation skills!

Courses are customized to suit students’ level, needs, and schedules. In this course, we will learn how to create sentence patterns and conjugation forms for daily Japanese conversation skills. We will practice with textbooks and build grammar through speech and listening skills, so your overall Japanese skills will most certainly improve. ★Kanji Course Fun, fast ways to effectively learn and memorise Kanji vocabulary. There are many people who've lived in Japan for a while and have the ability to engage in basic conversation, but still have trouble getting used to the writing systems (hiragana, katakana, and kanji). So by studying kanji little by little in this kanji course, you can get used to writing! In the beginning, you will learn about the origins and basics of kanji. Feeling like you aren't good at kanji and thinking "kanji is difficult!" is very common for most people. As a class, everyone will figure out how many strokes each character has and how to begin writing a character, first, by writing in the air and then writing on paper. Let's learn kanji one by one while enjoying the lesson!

I first began studying Japanese with Yuka-sensei at M's when I was teaching English in Korea. Prior to moving to Japan, studying via Skype provided me with the　exposure and motivation I needed to begin my Japanese studies. Upon arrival I began taking in-person lessons at M's, and I really can't speak highly enough of the quality of Yuka-sensei's lesson. I feel that she really personalizes each of my lessons to suit my individual needs and interests, and it's obvious that she takes large amounts of time and care in preparing colorful, memorable, and fun materials for each of my lessons. I especially enjoy learning about Japanese cultural traditions such as calligraphy, various festivals, and Japanese songs. She makes every effort to see that I am not just able to communicate, but that I get the most out of my Japanese experience. I've been studying with Yuka-sensei for just over 2 years, and I can see a marked improvement in my Japanese. When I started, I barely understood a word of Japanese, but now I am having conversations about my life, work and everyday activities. I can also now visit places like convenience stores, restaurants and the post office with ease. Yuka-sensei’s lessons are fun and informative, and she tailors them to my needs. At first, I only wanted to use my Japanese conversationally, but when I decided to take the JLPT she changed the content to help me best. Now I feel confident and ready to start taking on tests. Although a lot of our classes focus on important grammar points and vocabulary building, we have also done many fun lessons that have really enriched my time in Japan. We have written new year’s cards and tanabata wishes, and I’ve made some fun calligraphy crafts. With her help, I even managed to successfully tie an obi for attending a summer festival!
